My very own Macbook cover

I finally had the time to create a macbook cover for my favourite laptop. I’ve spent two nights on this. The materials were: a part of an old jeans as the base, old buttons and hand stitchery, some glue in order to stick the fabric cutouts and some rhinestones.

Here is the result. It’s my unique macbook cover:

How do you think, did it worth two sleepless night ? :) I really had fun making it, I think I’ll do more.

It looks good, and it feels good either :). Plus my favourite laptop is protected from scratches, which are a real problem for a glossy surface. Here are a few comments from my friends:

So it seems like my friends very pretty happy with the new look of my macbook cover and I think I’ll make a few more soon.

P.S. Do you think It’s a good idea to try and create such covers for my iphone, ipod and even imac maybe ? :) Or it will be too much ? I have so many ideas, just don’t know where to start and what would people think of such thingies.
